Thermoplastic polyolefin  (TPO) membrane is a type of polymer
 waterproof material based on  polypropylene(PP) and rubber,
 processed  by using unique formula  and advanced technique. 
 It can be recycled throughout its  service lifetime.
 It doesn't contain any chlorine, heavy  metal nor elements
 harmful to the plant roots and it is  environmental friendly.

 



2.Product Category

According  to the different reinforcement, the TPO waterproof membrane can be divided into  4 types:

  • G type (DYP-820): Membrane reinforced by Glass fiber as the inner  layer;

  • P type (DYP-821): Membrane reinforced by polyester fiber as the  inner layer;

  • H type (DYP-822): Homogeneous Membrane. Pure TPO membrane without  reinforcement;

  • L type (DYP-823): Membrane reinforced by no-woven fabric as backing  layer;


3.Application

  • Different types of construction roof  (exposed roof, plant roof, steel roof,)

  • Basement, tunnel,  barn,metro,reservoir,etc.

  • Especially suitable for roof-gardening  for its high resistance to roof puncture.


4.Product feature

1)Excellent weather  resistance, aging resistance, tensile strength and elongation.
 2)Operation  can be done on wet substrate. Directly expose to the weather conditions without  any protective layer. 3)Easy  operation. No contamination.
 4)Re-welding  is operable.  
 5)White  color TPO enhances the reflection  of sun rays.
 6)Capable  of resisting the growth of mould and alga.

 Construction  procedure scheme:
 1.Substrate  treatment–2.‚Snap lines for alignment –3.ƒPaving  waterproof membrane–④Paint adhesive–⑤Rolling to exhaust gas-⑥Hot gas welding  waterproof membrane

Construction Attentions: At welding,  clean the welding area, no water, no oil and no contamination is allowed.Before  a formal welding, testing welding shall be carried out, to confirm the welding temperature and speed.


6. Storage

  • Flat-wise storage ,the stack height  should not be more than 5 layers,

  • Up-right storage, the stack height  should not be more than 2 layers.

  • It is prohibited to contact with acid,  alkali, oil and organic solvents.

  • Storage temperature should not exceed  45℃, shelf-life is not more than one year.
