Construction procedure scheme:
 1.Mechanical  Fastening

1.Substrate  treatment –2.‚Paving  vapor barrier –3.ƒFastening  insulating layer– ④Paving waterproof membrane – ⑤Fastening waterproof membrane – ⑥Hot gas  welding waterproof membrane.
 Construction  process:
 1)Substrate be flat, smooth, dry, clean, no  hollow, no sand, no crack. Any water, ice or snow shall be swept out to prevent  moisture being absorbed in between the newly constructed roof and the  substrate. Before paving the waterproof membrane, get rid of any debris and  foreign matter from the substrate surface.
 2)Paving TPO membrane: pave the membrane  according to the alignment line, keep the membrane straight and smooth, do not  forcefully pull or stretch the membrane.
 3)Membrane fastening under overlapping  area:  Use fixings to fasten the  membrane. The distance between two adjacent fixings depends on local wind  condition, type of substrate structure, height of the building and width of the  membrane, but it shall not be bigger than 600mm. Membrane area within 800mm  distance from the fixings should be operated by using full adhibiting method. 
 Additionally,  at places like roof-altitude changing area, skylights, deformation seams,  internal and external corners area, all pipelines and all the tighting grooves  of pouring sealant ,  the membrane should  be fasten.
 4)Hot  gas welding: 
 a)Use  auto hot gas welding machine or handheld hot gas welding gun and silicone  rubber roller to weld the TPO membrane. At all joints, use the silicone rubber  roller to roll the area to ensure constantly welding.
 b)The  width of the TPO membrane overlapping area is 120mm at the long edge, and 80mm  at the short edge. No miss welding and over welding is allowed.
 c)While  applying double-seam welding, using inflation pressure to check the tightness  of welding seam,  the pressuring time  should not be less then 2mins, pressure not smaller then 0.15Mpa, and pressure  reduction no less than 20%.
 d)While  use handheld welding gun, use visual inspection and mechanical inspection(i.e.  use a flat head screwdriver to check)

 

2.Full-adhibiting  Method

  • Construction Attentions: At welding, clean the welding area, no water, no oil and  no contamination is allowed.Before a formal welding, testing welding shall be  carried out, to confirm the welding temperature and speed.

 

Storage

  • Flat-wise  storage ,the stack height should not be over 5 layers,

  • Up-right  storage, the stack height should not be over 2 layers.

  • Do not  contact with acid, alkali, oil and organic solvents.

  • Storage  temperature should not exceed 45℃, shelf-life is not  more than one year.
