PVC Basement Waterproofing Membrane( non-exposed type) is made from polyvinyl chloride resin as main material, blended in defoamer, aging resistant agent and ultraviolet absorber, processed by using advanced equipment and technics. Sometimes added fiberglass and polyester non-woven as backing to enhance product performance.

1). Substrate Requirement
a) Substrate should be clean and without sharp points.
b) Substrate surface should be dry and substrate water content should be under 9%.
c) Corners and area with embedded part should be rounded off with radius bigger than 20mm.
2). Construction details
a) Substrate cleaning and smoothening.
b) Snap lines onto substrate surface as reference lines.
d) Unfold the PVC membrane roll, lay the PVC membrane onto a clean substrate surface, keep the membrane in a natural unfolded, straight and smooth state without distortion. Then lift up one end of the membrane and fold it to the other end. Fully apply adhesive to the substrate surface and to the membrane surface except for a 100mm wide area at the edges, which is for welding purpose. Adhesive should be applied evenly with no blank area. And leave it for 5-10mins under normal temperature when the adhesive becomes surface dry (not sticky to fingers), then it is ready for bonding.
e) When paving PVC membrane at place where a vertical surface joints a level surface, pave the membrane from bottom up, leave the seams on level surface. Keep membrane joint seams at least 200mm away from corners, membrane's short edge joint seams should be 500mm staggered and membrane's edge overlapping width should be no less than 80mm.
f) Air exhausting and roll: after paving each PVC membrane sheet, use a roller to roll the membrane sheet from one end to the other to exhaust air completely and ensure tight bonding.
g) Joint seam treatment: after large area membrane paving, lift up the uncoated 100mm membrane edge, turn it over and wash it with solvent, after the solvent dry out, apply seam sealant to the overlapping area of the two membrane sheets, wait 10mins for the sealant surface to dry, then bond the two membrane sheets together from one end to the other, press down and exhaust air by hands. No buckling or bubble is allowed to exist in overlapping area.
h)Membrane terminals in the grooves area or drain gully area should be sealed up by cement mortar.

Different types and specifications of the products should be stacked respectively. Pay attention to ventilation.Storage temperature should not be higher than 45℃, flat storage stack height no more than five layer, put single pile vertical, keep product away from acid, alkali, oil, organic solvent, etc.
2)Transportation to prevent tilt or lateral pressure, cover with cloth if necessary.
3)Under the condition of normal storage & transportation, storage period is one year.
